Parenting, child custody, child support, and time sharing schedules are important aspects of each action that involves the minor children of the parties. The guiding standard in such issues rightfully remains: “What is in the best interests of the children?” Some of the primary factors in determining parental responsibilities to be shared by the parties are: (1) the principal residence of the children, (2) whether contact is appropriate, (3) a time sharing schedule, and (4) shared decision making.
